It’s been about two weeks since I started working on a new game after releasing Dicewar.
This time, I’m developing a puzzle-focused game that combines Sokoban-style mechanics with roguelike elements.

I initially thought it would be something I could build casually, but the goal is still far from clear, and it’s turning out to be more challenging than expected.
The screenshot shows a test map I’m currently using, and as you can see, the in-game visuals are still represented with simple symbols.

Starting a New Game Project

Hello, this is Yuu.

I’ve started working on a new game.

Originally, I was planning to develop a simulation game. However, after considering the amount of work it would require, I decided to put that idea on hold for now. Instead, I chose to start a smaller project based on a different concept.

This time, rather than recreating an existing game, I’m experimenting with a different approach: taking a classic style of game and adding new rules to it.
